Boosting Our Finishing Capacity

We’re pleased to share a significant investment we’ve just made into our finishing department — a new vibratory bowl finishing machine from PDJ Vibro.
This equipment takes our surface finishing capability to the next level.
Why we’ve made this investment
If you know Allbart, you’ll know we don’t buy kit for the sake of it — we invest only when it adds real value to our customers. Recently, we’ve seen a consistent trend in customer demand:
higher expectations for consistent finishing quality
larger batch sizes
pressure on lead-times
So we’ve brought in vibratory bowl technology that will help us deliver smoother, quicker and more predictable finishes on a wider range of components.
What’s special about this machine?
The model we’ve invested in is from the EVP-RA series — known for its efficient material flow, robust polyurethane lining and high-output motors.
Key advantages:
automated parts unload (less handling time / more throughput)
high repeatability on finish quality
ideal for medium & large batch work
can be used in conjunction with other machinery in our workflow
In short — it allows us to scale finishing capacity smartly, without compromising quality.

What this means for our customers
This investment will support:
faster turnaround times on work requiring post-process finishing
more reliable and more consistent finishes
increased flexibility on batch volumes
less risk of finishing bottlenecks
As we commission the machine and dial in our consumables/media, we’re expecting to push finishing lead-times down further.
Our commitment to capability
We’re continuing to invest across the shop floor — in equipment, in software, and in people — to make sure Allbart continues to provide a modern, reliable and highly responsive subcontract manufacturing service.
This latest step strengthens a part of the workflow that often runs quietly in the background — but has a huge impact on the finished quality our customers receive.
Want to know more?
If you have parts or projects coming up where finish quality or throughput has been a previous pain point — get in touch. We’d be happy to discuss whether this new capability can support you.
